The man
behind the
shield
MOST OF YOU MAY
KNOW HIM From Football.
Here’s what he’s building now.
Troy Vincent Sr. is a nationally recognized sports executive, board leader, humanitarian, and advocate for healthy communities. Throughout a distinguished career spanning professional sports, media, philanthropy, business, and public service, he has remained committed to one principle: leadership is measured by how many lives are improved through service to others.
As Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the National Football League, Troy helps shape the strategic direction of America's most popular sport. His leadership spans game operations, officiating, player engagement, policy, football development, and the continued growth of the game at every level—from youth participation to the global expansion of flag football.
Beyond the NFL, Troy serves on the inaugural BET Board of Advisors and the Board of Directors for BIG3 Basketball while contributing to organizations focused on education, youth development, healthy families, leadership, and civic engagement.
Grounded in faith, Troy approaches every role with humility, purpose, and a deep belief that leadership begins with service. Whether mentoring future leaders, strengthening communities, advocating for healthier families, or helping shape the future of sport, his mission remains the same: leave every person and every place better than he found it.
Coaches &
Influencers
Troy has a strong belief system that was formed by the Word of God, his Grandfather, Godfather, Coaches, Influencers, and Spiritual Leader. He believes that he can do anything he sets his mind to because of what the Word of God says in Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen”
